Store Policies

Sales and Service Policies

Policy 1.0 – Final nature of sales

All sales are final. Due to the exclusive nature of our products, we do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges under any circumstance once the purchase has been completed.

Policy 2.0 – Sizes and fittings

It is the customer’s responsibility to verify their size, measurements, and product specifications before completing the purchase. Our team may provide guidance, but perfect fit is not guaranteed. No refunds or exchanges will be issued due to sizing issues.

Policy 3.0 – Order cancellations

Once payment is processed, the order cannot be canceled. All items immediately enter preparation, reservation, or shipping, making cancellation impossible.

Policy 4.0 – Condition after delivery

We are not responsible for any damage, misuse, washing, alterations, or manipulation performed by the customer after delivery. Any claim is void if the product has been altered.

Policy 5.0 – Color and texture variations

Slight variations in color, brightness, or texture may occur due to lighting, digital screens, or manufacturing processes. These variations are normal and do not constitute defects.

Policy 6.0 – Shipping responsibility and transfer to the carrier

Once the order is handed over to the shipping carrier (UPS, USPS, FedEx, or others), the package becomes the sole responsibility of the customer and the carrier.


Lucy’s Formals is not liable for:

  • loss, theft, or damage during transit,

  • delays caused by the carrier,

  • incorrect shipping information provided by the customer,

  • packages marked as “delivered” by the carrier.

 

All post-shipment claims must be handled directly by the customer with the carrier.

Policy 7.0 – Change-of-mind purchases

No returns or exchanges are accepted due to change of mind, event cancellation, lack of use, or personal reasons. All purchases are definitive.

Policy 8.0 – Estimated delivery times

Delivery dates are estimates and may vary due to external logistics factors. Lucy’s Formals is not responsible for delays outside our control.

Policy 9.0 – Acceptance of policies

By completing a purchase, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted all sales, shipping, and service policies listed here.

Payment Policies

Payment Policy 10.0 – Accepted payment method

Payments are made exclusively through PayPal to ensure security, authentication, and transaction traceability.


Customers are responsible for ensuring their PayPal account is active, verified, and funded prior to completing a purchase.

Payment Policy 11.0 – Refund requests through PayPal

If a customer wishes to request a refund, the process must be initiated only through a PayPal dispute.

 

However:

  • disputes opened without evidence are not considered valid,

  • refunds are not valid for voluntary cancellation,

  • PayPal cases are not valid if the carrier marks the package as delivered,

  • disputes based on false claims, fraud, or lack of proof will be rejected.

 

Lucy’s Formals will cooperate with PayPal strictly within their guidelines and will request proof for any claim.

Payment Policy 12.0 – Non-refundable purchases

Since all sales are final, PayPal disputes cannot be used as a method to reverse a legitimate purchase. Any attempt to misuse the dispute system will be documented and reported.

Payment Policy 13.0 – Chargeback protection

Unauthorized chargeback attempts may result in:

  • filing evidence with PayPal and the customer’s bank,

  • account restrictions,

  • denial of future service.

 

We protect our business against fraudulent reversals.

Additional Policies

Policy 14.0 – Unique and limited-edition products

Many of our items are unique, exclusive, or limited edition. Once sold, they cannot be replaced or substituted with similar items.

Policy 15.0 – Inventory availability

Inventory is subject to availability. The store reserves the right to decline duplicate, suspicious, or inconsistent orders to protect product integrity.

Policy 16.0 – Internal quality inspection

All products are shipped only after passing an internal quality inspection ensuring they leave the store in optimal condition.

Policy 17.0 – Photography and visual material

Product images are for reference only and may show slight variations due to lighting, photo editing, or screen settings. These variations are not considered defects.

Payment Methods

Our payment method is PayPal, one of the most trusted and secure online payment platforms in the United States. PayPal uses advanced encryption, fraud protection systems, and secure authentication to safeguard every transaction. Your financial information is never shared with the store, ensuring a private, protected, and reliable checkout experience.

Within its system, PayPal allows customers in the United States to pay using:

  • Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)

  • Debit cards

  • PayPal account balance

  • Linked U.S. bank accounts

  • Apple Pay (when enabled on the customer’s PayPal wallet)

  • Google Pay (when enabled on the customer’s PayPal wallet)

  • PayPal Pay Later, including Pay in 4 and monthly payments (subject to eligibility)

 

PayPal processes all transactions quickly and securely, offering full protection and confidence to every customer making a purchase through our store.
